Improvising Over Chords
Bret Franzmann
A lot of students who have learned bits and pieces of theory from books, videos, teachers, or friends but are unable to tie it all together or fill in the gaps. This book will fill in some of those gaps. It uses terminology which is commonly used in popular music. It first looks at how scales are built and from there the chords that are built off of them. Then with those chords, which are the foundation of songs, and by using notes taken from different scales, you will learn to improvise over those chords giving you a variety of sounds.
