It is primarily only in the last two chapters of the very last book of the Bible that we catch a glimpse of what our home will be like in eternity. That is precious little, when you think about it. Jesus told his disciples in the book of John, that he was going to prepare a home for those who believe in him. The most in depth explanation that we have of what he has prepared (or is still preparing) is in these two chapters of the book of Revelation. The day that I am anticipating is the day when I see the new heavens and the new earth. It is when I will live in the presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Sovereign and Creator God of all that there is. This is a book about that day. The words written in these pages are my adventures of thought as I studied the closing words of the Scriptures.
