This book details Trump's many lies and various broken promises, along with the people who help him, how they helped him, and the damage they are doing to our country. "...wanting him to fail is like wanting the pilot to crash the plane we're all on" The more appropriate analogy for Trump, I believe, is that we have a kamakazi pilot in charge of our plane, and we need to get the airplane under control before we all crash and burn. While rooting for Trump is an understandable sentiment, imagine how much better off our country would be if Republicans said the same thing for Obama. Instead they blocked every piece of legislation and worked against progress in every way shape and form that they could. I didn't vote for Obama, but I was certainly rooting for him, and the treatment he got from republicans disgusted me. Now republican voters are crying about the treatment trump's gotten, and the hypocrisy is staggering, but even that is still dwarfed by the complete intellectual dishonesty of the trumps cult members in the charred remains of the present party.
