In the April of 2015 a gang of thieves pulled off one of the most daring heists in British history. It shocked the establishment, ruined lives, initiated one of the biggest investigations the Flying Squad had ever undertaken, and gave certain media executives and newspaper editors a field day. As insurance firms were eventually inundated with claims and film studios battled for production rights, eight people made life-changing decisions. Although all of them rented a deposit box, none of them had the contents stolen. They were however, left with a calling card that brought them to the attention of the Metropolitan Police and the Flying Squad. This is the story of how they were left with no option but to act.
