So, to take a step towards these ambitions, Ruth enters a contest via social media and is selected to play in a movie called "The Naturalist" with a distinguished part...as an extra. Amid the perks and glamour of being "behind the scenes," Ruth gets more than she bargains for when she learns, first-hand, the challenge it is being a principled Christian in Hollywood's world. During this journey, she meets catalysts, antagonists, and advocates touched by her contagious spirit, including Matthew Anastas, a charismatic journalist, Ruth hopes to rise above uncertainty, feud, and the libel of those who seemingly wish to make her appear foolish to a following world. Also, while all of this happens, a question will arise. Is Ruth ready to give her heart to comfort on common ground or will she, while trusting God, choose to continue to grow outside of her own limits?
