This workbook will acquaint you with the essentials of biblical Hebrew and deepen your understanding of God's Word. You'll gain a basic knowledge of the language and learn how to use reference tools to enhance your study of the Old Testament. It will help you: * Recite the Hebrew alphabet * Read and pronounce Hebrew words * Learn Hebrew names, common words and theological terms * Learn basic Hebrew grammar of nouns, adjectives, verbs and other parts of speech * Use Hebrew reference tools to conduct word studies * Understand exegetical commentaries and theological dictionaries. Appendices include a Hebrew-English Dictionary, Hebrew Verb Charts, Index of Subjects and Answer Key.



This workbook has been used at Denver Seminary and at Bay Cities Bible College to teach students who are not required to take a full year of Hebrew. In one semester, students become acquainted with resources available beyond the English text of the Old Testament.
