In this book, our kids get into hot water when Ruby, Nolan, Bonnie, and Shamus tell their parents they are going for a picnic. They meet Donzereli in a secluded spot to be flown up to Donzereli's home on the backs of dragons. Dr. Allen figures out their little scheme and bribes a ride. This adventure begins when they arrive at the mountain greeted by Donzereli's parents, who look not pleased to see them. Donzereli's parents insist they stay the night, and the kids realize they are prepared for an extended stay, with rooms prepared and clothes that are the right sizes for them. After a tour of the "keep" by Donzereli, the kids learn their parents are coming. Donzereli plans another adventure to keep them occupied and not think about their impending doom. He takes them on a deep sea fishing trip. Nolan catches a big fish and is exhausted. The whole group is netted by a flying car and taken aboard to meet the "others" and they look like Yeti's
