Earth Strong is a collection of works that have been sowed in the soil, germinated by thought, gestated in the dark and that are now unfurling themselves towards the light. The natural world is, of course, front and center in this anthology. In Jamaican vernacular however, Earth Strong refers to one's birthday so self-actualization as well as man's purpose within nature are further themes that are challenged in this work. The coincidence of the release date and the author's own birthday is meant to further connect Earth Strong to his self-actualization as a poet and a person- In short, Earth Strong is the author's gift to the world.
