Set in 19th-century America, a pair of 18-year-old twins - Dolly & Dick - befriend a 23-year-old German, who inevitably falls for the beautiful female half of the duo. Dolly is known as a flirt and Dick doesn't want her upsetting Herr August Bopp. A scheme of Dick's ends up making everyone miserable for a while, but the humorous tone of this story suggests that things will right themselves eventually.
