Christine and Allen Smith board a commercial ship to Venice to spend their honeymoon in spite knowing that they are in the first phase of the Second World War. The ship gets attacked by a belligerent enemy. The couple survive the hurdles of the ocean and get to Venice. They lodge in the Grand Londra Palace Hotel. The war gets provoked as time goes on, compelling fugitives of war to come to the hotel. Weakness, emotional feelings, and vicious propensity become the melody of the fugitives with each other. But Raphael and Rebecca are outstanding because of their true love for each other. The belligerent blow into Venice dispersing everyone, and all those that can't make it out of Venice are compelled to accepting what it brings upon them. Raphael and Rebecca find themselves on an engine boat in the middle of the ocean.
