As we go through life suddenly out of the blue a disaster strikes, affecting us mentally causing stress and depression of which the time we seem to have no control only to be full of hatred and bitterness towards those who caused knowingly the damage they have caused to others. The short story shows how Tony but only with the help of his good friend and neighbour John who introduced him to walking was able over the years to rid himself of the hatred and bitterness he felt towards his Sales Director, and legal representatives who failed in their Duty of Care, by taking up backpacking with his canine friend walking the Downs, and other areas of natural outstanding beauty, allowed him to forgive and forget, as once you forgive you are no longer a victim.
