The church is under pressure to abandon the traditions of God and to conform to the traditions of the world. Disunity in the church has grown to levels never seen in the history of the church. The church has been infiltrated by men and women, who adopt alien practices, display strange powers, twist the Word of God and use strange doctrines to achieve selfish commercial ends. Weak Christians are daily being led astray by people who can best be described as strange pastors. In some parts of the world, other religions are growing at the expense of Christianity. These are all indications that we are living in the biblical end-times. Using multiple examples from North America and many more from African churches, this book paints a picture of the prevailing situation in some parts of the church and examines some of their practices in the light of the Word of God. For the benefit of lay Christians, some common and obvious characteristics of such strange pastors and their churches are also described. Many will be shocked at the extent and types of spots, wrinkles and blemishes that have permeated the Body of Christ. Self-examination by each church and subsequent corrections where necessary, will enable the Body of Christ to assume her rightful position as the light and salt of the earth. Written primarily for Christians and their leaders, this work will serve as a shock therapy for those who are "at ease in Zion". It will force them to eliminate the distractions and focus more on preaching the gospel and getting the sheep ready for the imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
