With acceptance comes power. Struggling to accept his role in life after the death of his father and his son, Jay Jones looks to the bottle to give him an identity. Only problem is, Jay is hesitant to admit his dependency on the alcohol. But after a mental breakdown reminiscing his faults, Jay is finally able to accept his alcoholism and finds that in acceptance comes power. Or so he thinks. With every drink of every bottle, Jay grows stronger. And he'll need all the strength he can muster to fight off his demons...literally. With one final gulp of alcohol, Jay transforms into Captain Chemical, causing his demons to rear their ugly horned heads, aiming to drag Jay down once and for all. Captain Chemical is the story of acceptance, understanding, and sad realities. Sometimes we have to face our own demons. Sometimes we create them ourselves. This is all told in picture book form with Tyler West writing and Garry Breech providing the illustrations.
