Raised in rural Waldo, Florida in the 50s and 60s, Ben Campen learned the lessons of small town America: love for your fellow man, the rewards of hard work, and a how to live life with love, joy and a sense of humor! This book is a compilation of Ben's weekly blog posts entitled Waldo Wisdom. These blogs contain personal stories that can help people find themselves and the happiness and success that lies within. Ben Campen is an author, a respected community leader, successful entrepreneur, and most importantly, a devoted father and grandfather. Applying the lessons of Waldo Wisdom, Ben started his business career with less than $500 to his name and now owns highly successful businesses in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Ben's business success and passing down those lessons of success, has allowed him to turn the day-to-day management of his businesses to his children leaving him time for his passion: writing and being of service. His philanthropic work has taken him all over the world and for his efforts, he has received several commendations including the Service Above Self Award from Rotary International, Big Impact Award from Big Brothers/Big Sisters and was inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame.
