Max Collins and Jay Morgan have just attended the premiere of their debut independent film "Ripper" at the West Virginia Film Festival. The film is instantly becoming a huge success and they can see Cannes and Sundance in their futures. Life could not possibly be going any better for these long time best friends who have dreamt of making movies since they were kids. But that is about to change. The morning after the premiere Max and Jay are shocked to discover their good friends Lori and Joanie have been murdered. And the murders bear the same signature as the murder in their film. After they begin receiving threatening and cryptic emails they are forced into playing a deadly game with dire consequences. Aided by beautiful detective Roberta Gellar, Max and Jay struggle to keep their sanity while suffering painful game after painful game, each game arriving with a turn far more sick and depraved than the last one. Someone did not like their movie. No, someone didn't like it one bit. In fact they hated it so much that they are willing to kill for it. Will Max and Jay discover the killer's identity before it's too late? Or will they end up on the Cutting Room floor....
