There is a prophecy among the Creebles that the Mabrendiah will come to bring their deliverance and overthrow the evil that had them enslaved. The Creebles, a fair race of beings, are a musically gifted people whose songs enchant and bless those who hear them. One young Creeble, Atonn, finds himself struggling with the suffering of his people until he learns that the Mabrendiah has chosen him to lead the rebellion against their dark master Esior and lead his people to freedom and to a surprising discovery upon which rests the destiny of the entire world.
