Horizon Spectrum is a collection of literary works by Northwest Indiana writers. The publication of this anthology coincides with Indiana's Bicentennial; therefore Part I honors the Midwestern Hoosier state. Many "pages have turned" and years have flown by since the first ten writers gathered in the Lake County Reference Library in Merrillville, Indiana in January, 1989, to hone their craft. Since that time, most members have become published authors, many with one or more books published. The collected works include poems, memoirs, short stories, and excerpts from published and yet-to-be published novels.
