It is the final work of the so-called "tetralogy Lancaster 'is preceded by Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2. Therefore, the public was already familiar with Henry, the main character, the title to the work, as it was represented in Enrique IV as a wild and undisciplined type known as "Prince Hal." In Henry V, the young prince has matured and embarks on the conquest of France. The work focuses on the events immediately before and after the battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Years' War.
