Amen King is a teenager with a seemingly ideal life because she was born into a wealthy, God-fearing family. Her parents are founders of a renowned university, her grandfather is a great philanthropist, and her eccentric great-grandmother is a gospel music legend. She also has the best friend a girl could ask for. On the surface, everything seems perfect, but what lies beneath are feelings of inadequacy about living up to her pious family name, as well as a deep dark secret that she cannot escape.
