Ever wonder why Christmas is on Dec. 25 or why the Catholic Church set this date for the Nativity? The Talmud states that the truest Jewish prophets were born during Passover and died during Passover. Since the gospels inform us that Jesus was crucified during a Passover, it can be reasoned that, as a Jewish prophet, he was also born during a Passover.
