The People's Constitution
Nathaniel S Downes
Despite being the founding document of our nation, the Constitution of the United States is not something readily understood. The framers wrote it so as to be interpreted by people, in the time in which they lived. Yet, we have a push for an "Original" understanding of the document, one which cannot ever be reached. With The People's Constitution, we find an attempt to reinterpret the Constitution, piece by piece, to reflect the demands of the modern era. This is combined with an analysis of issues, and possible solutions for dealing with these issues. Together, perhaps, we can find the interpretation for solving the political troubles of our era.
