Robbie Mauro died on his twenty-fifth birthday. He refused, however, to surrender his life's energy to the universe whence it came. Now, 125 years after his "death," Robbie has finally grown bored with his so-called existence and has decided it is time to move on. As he is making his final preparations to leave this mortal coil, he comes face-to-face with an angelic Watcher named Ezerial. Ezerial confronts Robbie, seeking help with a serious dilemma that only Robbie can solve. Ezerial offers Robbie a proposition to regain his corporeal form: help Ezerial destroy Azazel, a renegade angel who is hell bent on destroying our world. If Robbie agrees, and is successful, he may once again, regain his life. This proposition intrigues Robbie. No longer bored, Robbie must make the ultimate choice: accept the challenge and possibly regain his life or move on. The future of our world may depend on his decision.
