It is the beginning of a new school year and a lonely and neglected fourteen year old boy, Victor, who is new to the school and community enrolls and is immediately confronted in the office. Later, while in the boy's bathroom he is threatened and told to turn over his lunch money or suffer the consequences. A gang, known as The Terror Kings, led by and eighth grade boy named, Taylor Washington, and compromised of some of the most popular eighth grade boys in the school orchestrate a reign of terror against Victor, which culminates in a beating. Victor, a loner and friendless, doesn't know how to settle the score until one day he finds a, gun. Riversedge Middle School, is home to a cast of characters whose daily lives intertwine as they move innocently and blindly toward a hair chilling climax that will forever define their lives.
