It is often said that certain people only find God when they get locked up. Living careless lives of self-seeking pleasure, many of these men and women balk at the idea of serving God before ever experiencing a prison term. But then they get locked up and suddenly serving God makes sense. The system strips them naked, and they desperately look for the best way to survive. Some inmates discover a new identity in gangs, while others in recreational activity; some settle of education, while others craft one at work. Then there are those who "find God." These are the ones who decide to give God a chance (as if He's the One who messed up!). And they call it "finding my purpose."
