The Instrumentality of Communication
Don Bellinger
This is poetry written over the last 25 years or so. It doesn't have a theme. It's not about my misbegotten youth. Or how my cat abused me in my twenties. I don't think I had a cat in my twenties. The cat said otherwise, of course. They are simply poems. Find what you will in them. You may know more than I. They were born on the wrong side of the blanket. The act of creation was all a blur, and the memory deceives. The instant they were born, they became something different. Not how I remembered them. But with that, I loved them even more. And so, I often revisit them. And with each visit they have a new name. And so do I.
