Josephine Chiugo was greatly moved by the morbidities women faced while performing their God given roles. Consumed by the zeal to save women and children, she shunned early marriage and disappeared on her wedding night. This raised a lot of dust and only the gods could give a clue to her whereabouts. The people got more confused when the gods proclaimed that she will come back in glory and rescue her people. Years later, Chiugo comes back as predicted by the gods bringing with her solutions to infant, maternal mortality and morbidities. The gods were actually right when they declared her, The Goddess of Hope.
