An Epoch In Your Eye is a satirical piece of sci-fi/fantasy that takes place in a cosmos young, vast and intimately interconnected. Picture Gulliver's Travels in a realm more Hitchhiker's Guide than Star Trek. It's a cosmos where every land has a say in the saga, and language has a life of its own-down to every letter having a story of their own. Through Abe Zhoeman's eyes we're taken to a world full of cartoonishly surreal characters, yet eerily familiar habits. Enough to make one ask, what if one fell into a wormhole instead of a rabbit's? In the opinion of the enigmatic narrator, the strangeness of it all is only surpassed by the Murky Way out on that Opaque Avenue, and a planet the inhabitants seem to call Erf.
