2016 Morro Bay in Bloom Community Profile

The Community Profile is prepared each year by volunteers of Morro Bay in Bloom, an all-volunteer organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of Morro Bay residents and to enhance visitors' experience of Morro Bay through attractive and water-wise floral displays, attractive and well-maintained landscaped areas, a robust urban forestry program, active stewardship of our environment, preservation of Morro Bay's historical and cultural heritage, and clean, welcoming public spaces that include public art. Morro Bay in Bloom's volunteer model is based on occasional participation by anyone who learns of our well-publicized weekly events that take place between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to purchase plants, supplies, tools and safety gear for our projects.
