As Susan Alex remains an actress in the Marissa Delaware show with Jeffery Collins, she soon discovers a longing within herself for something more. Her world seems turned upside down when family difficulties become even more prevalent. Other strange occurrences appear to be popping up here and there with no apparent explanation. As the Christmas holiday season draws nearer and connections among persons don't seem to add up, she decides to move from Los Angeles California back to Aurora Colorado to be near her family. When Paul Tonny becomes reassigned home to the St. Peter's Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he attempts to amend his relationships with his distant children. However, he also carries a hidden grief of his own and as things keep spiraling more and more out of control, clarity seems unclear and distant. Can anything make sense through the chaos and can light flicker through the darkness? Can the unity of warmth, hope, and family togetherness become possible once again?
