A Plymouth Story Bosc

Plymouth in the 18th century in a time of conflict a dangerous place for any young man, beaten to the ground by a press- gang and dragged on board a frigate he awakes to a new reality and must quickly adapt leaving behind a sick and demanding mother he develops into the freedom that has been forced upon him, well educated he becomes an asset to be traded on the lower deck and as he grows as a man learning the ways of the sea he places his feet upon the ladder of promotion and learning the trade of death. Witnessing defeats and victories he watches the American colonies drift away in a fog of incompetence an individual cannot alter history. Then peace and he has to build a new life away from the sea but built on his experience and knowledge gained.
