Fido's Tale Mike Turvil

The author weaves some historical facts and futuristic technology into this amusing fantasy adventure set in prehistoric times. It is an imaginative story, which follows a Stone Age teenage boy's journey of discovery, after he is given super-intelligence by a neurotic computer with aspirations for universal domination. The introduction of time travel allows some of the action to move to the present day, but the reader is also transported back to the predawn of Earth's history. Colourful characters and humorous situations fill every page, but Fido's Tale does lead to a dramatic climax, every bit as exciting as those found in all the best adventure stories.
