Simon Trevanion is a jobbing actor in 1950s London. Struggling to get his career off the ground, he can at least add a two minute sword fight with Roger Moore and a Colgate toothpaste commercial to his slim portfolio. Simon's only regular work is found at The Golders Green Theatre Company, under the leadership of his friend and latter-day film star, Perry Walpole. But then disaster strikes and the drama off the stage becomes all too real. If you like nostalgic crime fiction and those old British classic films, this has it all.
