Norma is a young and immature girl, just starting to work and get away from her mother's dominant control. She is bewitched by a debonair newspaper reporter whom she allows to be far too free with her. He tells her he is going home to inform his parents that he is going to marry her, Then she finds that he has been sacked from his job and will no longer have work in their town. She suspects that she is pregnant, becomes frightened of life, but is helped by her father and a friend. She does not want a baby, but when it is born a magic moment happens and they look into each other eyes. Norma is filled with Joy. They will face the world together. Though there are many problems they soon find that life is what you make it. One day they will find true happiness.
