That Jose! What an amazing dog. In reality, the story is based on an actual character (should I say a real dog) who flew some 500,000 miles with his parents while experiencing some pretty incredible, unbelievable, and wild and exciting adventures. He also comes to some interesting conclusions after observing humans at work and play. He can never quite figure out why they chase that little white ball around and keep hitting it. Crazy. The real fun is rolling in the freshly mowed grass or going into the woods and gossiping with other dogs. And playing with the beautiful Christmas present wrappings. There's the real fun! As a reader, you will experience one delightful adventure right after another, whether in New York City or some barren countryside. When he meets his biological mother in a mysterious way towards the end of the book, I'm sure that you will cry. This is a book that you will read, re-read and then pass on. Enjoy!
