When Simon moves into his new rooms in a run down lodging house in Crystal Palace, he doesn't have high hopes for the future. Life hasn't treated him too kindly of late, and he isn't expecting things to improve any time soon. His new neighbours seem nice enough - a little eccentric, but that's okay - he likes eccentric. When he's invited to a birthday party downstairs, he's more than happy to go - all he needs is a present for his host. He finds just what he's looking for in a mysterious curio shop, tucked away in a deserted side street: an Ouija board. Harmless fun for all the family... until you use it. Simon hadn't been expecting much from life, but he certainly hadn't been expecting what came out of the Ouija board - angels, demons and fallen gods, all intent of making his life Hell.
