Bee and Grasshopper are best friends who live in the make-believe land of the Little Valley. They do everything together from riding their bicycles, skateboarding, swimming at the beach, even riding pogo sticks! This first of a series of Children's books features them going on a fishing trip with their friends. Each story in the series aims at responsibility, sharing, courtesy, honesty, safety as well as an occasional brain teaser! The author was influenced greatly from the bedtime stories that his father told him many years ago. By picking up the art of storytelling from his dad, the author subsequently told bedtime stories to his two daughters when they were infants and toddlers. The author also considers himself an amateur entomologist who has always had a love for insects and had included them in the stories that he told his children. When his daughters were little, he would walk with them in the backyard and look for different insects to show them. Tales From the Little Valley is a series of children's books that involve Bee and Grasshopper going on all sorts of adventures with their many friends. The author hopes that those who read it will find the joy of reading these stories to their children or even their grandchildren.
