The Sinless One is dead and his Heroes of God scattered; the Dark Age is lifting. The scramble for position in the new-minted power structures is becoming manageable, the inconvenient truths are being absorbed, and a Seraph is reunited with his angel. Now the post-mortem for a world can begin, the questions of causation can be looked at. Who did this to us, why did they do it, what shall we do to them? Pull back from the world - from the viewpoint of a god (Gaia, perhaps), the world continues in rude health with some minor readjustments, such as the numbers of one of the species. Viewpoints are tricky things, and a god's-eye view would be a lonely one, no matter how attained. What's the difference between a god and a virus, between a point of view and a war-crime?
