Two little twins, Mitchell and Michelle Davis, are sent to an orphanage in Baltimore city after years of being abused by their single parent. However, after they get sent to the orphanage, little under a year later they get adopted by a strange middle aged man who opens their eyes to a brighter variety of life. Our main protagonist, Michelle, is a wise but introverted, pessimistic, (and sometimes snobby) ten year old girl who often carries a self righteous attitude. She struggles with enlightening the black community and the country as a whole, whether it's because they won't take her seriously or because she's not good with exposition, she often feels insecure and out of place with the world around her. But, her righteousness and refusal to give up on her fellow Americans keeps her on a one way trip to victory in hopes that she can save the country from going straight to hell in a hand basket and its future generations! But...will she succeed?
