VICTIM takes you on a journey through Vero's life of mental, physical, emotional and verbal abuse which began early on. By her 18th birthday, she had lived in eight different houses and suffered the ruthlessness of those who were appointed to nurture and love her. VICTIM demonstrates, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that prolonged abuse rapes you of the vitality of life, takes away your desire to live, removes all the joy, peace, and serenity, leaving you with scars that last forever. Scars that reminds you that, you are a product of a teenage mother who was abused by her husband, who was bitter and angry due to being abandoned himself. The experiences of Vero's life imprisoned her in loveless situations that compromised her ability to love, even her own children the way she was supposed to. At 18 years of age she met a man who abused her in every way possible thinking that she was in love. Kicked, cursed, beaten unconscious, publicly-humiliated and verbally cursed, in front of her three children and other, she believed that her fear of change was tied to her childhood. That enslaved her to remain in an abusive marriage for 23 years thinking that if she left she'd just run into the arms of yet another abuser. Thank God for His Grace and Mercy, today Vero is no longer a victim. Now she motivates other women to say 'NO to abuse'
