Kate is a petite woman in her late twenties with no permanent attachments as yet. It is the last day of the old year and she is sitting quietly in Janet's Place a singles' bar, waiting for the advent of New Year's Day of the New MIllenium. As she is drawn into the ritual of 'Aulde lang syne' she is bumped into a tall, stranger (he is dark too). When the circle of hand holding has broken apart he introduces himself as Paul Symonds and offers her a drink, a closer relationship evolves but two weeks later Kate is abducted on the orders of a perverted and imperious elderly woman. She is kept as a pet for the woman and fortnightly 'Performances' in front of paying guests .....
