Canadians John and Susan Doyle after thwarting the IRA in the book "Precious Package" are asked to help the Mounties and Interpol to take down the thieves of a large heist of stolen art in Montreal. To do this they have to deceive the Mafia. To do this they have to give up their identities and enter the underworld of 'corrupt' art dealers. Along the way their marriage is tested as they throw away their wedding rings and take on a new persona. Death, deception and diligence are part of their 'modus operandi' as they attempt to find this treasure of art and triumph over chaos.
