Jesus, Buddha and Science John Alan Shope

Much has been written about the similarities between Buddhism and modern science; but, for some reason, Jesus is often left out of the mix. Part of the reason is failure to appreciate the obvious, albeit mysterious, relationship between Jesus and Buddha. Jesus was far more Eastern than Western, which means he probably had more in common with ancient Buddhism than modern Christianity. Set Jesus free from 2000 years of church dogma, and a Bible driven by church dogma; and suddenly a surprising harmony is revealed between 3 of the most important phenomena in world history: Jesus, Buddha and modern science. For many, the various parts of that harmony are best expressed in poetry.
