A civil war has come to the Dominion on the wings of the unique child: Deespa. Heralded as Queen Magyo the Reborn, she is no longer a child. She has fully embraced her unique nature while keeping it a mystery. Within herself she has discovered power and has used it to bring about the end to the corrupt Empire of Man. While thousands rally to her cause, the battle was taken its course towards the capital system of Coran, where the new Queen plans to bring her message of freedom and equality to the slaves of the Dominion. Unbeknownst to all, she is trying to save two worlds, one made of flesh, the other of silicone. But the conquest of Coran reveals a far deeper evil, and enemy beyond time and comprehension, intent on correcting what it sees as the imperfection caused by the people that traveled out from Earth. This enemy will stretch Deespa's powers beyond what she even thought possible, and she will need the help of unlikely allies in order to prevent the extermination of mankind. The events of Ghost of an Empire take place alongside the events of The Lost Tribe.
