Humans on Display

During ancient times people were enslaved to perform as gladiators, dancers, or sex performers for the elite. This idea of building human zoos expanded and worsened over the decades. While we know about Ota Benga being put in the Bronx Zoo as an African Pygmy "missing link" animal; this same type "display" was found around the world. This book is about the horrors of the human zoos including today's "hidden" zoos in what is politely call human trafficking. It is not a feel good book, but it is one that needs to be read.
