The Story of David Zaun is a true story. His name has been changed, however. As a sincere Catholic, he suffered for four decades with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). He had the beginnings of his disability when he was in his early teens. Entering the seminary, he was taught to aspire to perfection. However, this did not bring him peace. The more he sought spiritual perfection, the worse his disability became. The story of David should be read by counselors, priests, family members, and friends.
