For 30 years, Friendship House has provided more than just shelter and food for the homeless population of Washington's Skagit County. Founded on the principles of "homeless hospitality", people in need of support have found a safe and welcoming place to rest and find stability. Since its inception Friendship House has been a model for compassionate care for those with the greatest needs in society and have achieved success in providing services, support and most recently job training to this population.
