The Rule of Three Steve Way

After narrowly escaping a brutal assault that nearly ended her life, seasoned Crime Scene Investigator Lane Street decides it's time for a change of scenery. Moving from Memphis to the small mountain town of Pine Ridge, North Carolina, however, does little to provide her with the refuge she desires. On the day she arrives for her new forensics job, a heinous murder shatters the normally placid lives of the town's police force. Though murder is nothing new to Lane, it soon becomes obvious that she is dealing with no ordinary killer - and that the killing is far from over.
