Things That Matter
Patrick Gene Frank
First published in July, 2014, "Things That Matter" focuses on certain key phases of the author's life and growth. As a form of poetry, it provides an impressionistic view, exploring the intersection of inner experience and external reality. It constitutes a life story, but the last chapter has not been written, as Mr. Frank continues to live and work in the beautiful mountain region of Western North Carolina. Frank shares with his wife, Linda, an artist-crafter, a creative website and the reader is invited to check it out at frankcreations.com. The work is preceded by a forward written by Walter Reed, Professor of English at Emory University.
