"Razorback Country" is the story of two brothers from a large family growing up on a farm in Souhwest Arkansas in the era of l900. Little River County just north of Texarkana was then a primitive area full of dense forests inhabited with panthers, bears and wild razorback hogs. The boys, Edward and Alva, grew up hearing firsthand stories of those who lived through the Civil War as well as stories of frontier migrations of the family. Many of the exciting tales in the story were heard by the author from his father Alva and uncle Edward.
