Rumspringa literally translates into Running around which is a tradition in the Amish community that resides in Modern America. A conservative community, that stays in the new world without electricity or cars. Rumspringa is a period when young Amish coming off age are allowed to explore the non Amish world. An Indian guy from the City of dreams, lands up in New York for a visit to his sister. Little does he know what New York has in store for him? He befriends an attractive girl on the trip and ends up in her private space 86 floors up in the sky at the Empire State building. Love at first sight, New York cruise, fun at Times square, bar trips, three meetings and after a sensual date later; she disappears leaving him with nothing but a letter. Guided by three crazy friends he leaves on a quest to hear the three most important words for him 'I love you', The journey takes him from New York City to Lancaster County in search of this girl who he knows nothing about except her first name. He experiences his own period of Running around in search of this mysterious girl. The journey is about a tug of war between Jesus and Krishna, dreams and practicality, chances and coincidences, friends and family and above all finding love. Do they live happily ever after
